George Pierce is Assistant Professor of English and Director of Writing Programs at Georgia. George Pierce has been associated with numerous research projects sponsored by several national and international agencies associated with Functional skills in language and literature and Feminism and literary criticism. He has published more than 7 books and more than 104 articles and chapters on wide-ranging aspects of sociolinguistics and translation studies. He works extensively as a forensic consultant. His books have won several major awards and he has received international critical acclaim.
