Rontay Pierre is an associate professor. He has taught sport psychology for over seven years. His research has focused primarily on historical issues related to sport and exercise psychology. His research articles have been published in such journals as the Sport Psychologist, the Journal of Sport Behavior, and the Journal of Mental Imagery. Rontay Pierre is a former secretary-general of the International Society of Sport Psychology, a member of the board of the Norwegian Sport Psychology Association, and the current president of the Federation of Sport Psychology. Pierre is a fellow in the Academy of Physical Education and the Association for the Advancement of Applied Sport Psychology. He is the first professional practice editor of The Sport Psychologist and is a leading contributor to the areas of supervision and the education and training of applied sport psychologists.
