Zishan Parks is Professor of European Integration and Globalization. His main research interests are in the relationships between mobility and regional development, tourism, food, global environmental change and environmental history. He is the author and editor of a number of books on tourism including Critical Issues in Tourism and Tourism and Tourism Spaces and A Companion to Tourism Geography. His published work includes 17 books and other publications and more than 117 contributions to the professional and technical press. He is a Fellow of the Hotel and Catering International Management Association, Founder Fellow of theTourism Society, and was thefirst Chairman of the Society.
